PARKING RULES
- Maryland State and Montgomery County Parking and Traffic Rules are in effect within the Leisure World community and will be enforced by the Leisure World Security Department and Montgomery County Police.
- All vehicles of Leisure World residents must display a Leisure World decal. Proof of ownership of the vehicle, i.e., registration with a Leisure World address is required.
- Parking in patient spaces at the Medical Center is reserved for patients of the Medical Center.
- Golf carts may be parked on Trust property only in automotive parking areas and in areas designated on the golf course and outside the Clubhouse. Golf Carts may not be driven or parked on sidewalks.
- Residents and guests with trucks (including pickups) trailers, oversized campers, RV's, boats or unregistered automobiles must have approval of the Security Department to park for more than 48 hours on Trust property.
- Guest parking on Trust property for periods of longer than 48 hours must have approval of the Security Department.
- Travelers and commuters leaving Leisure World who park in the Administration parking lot, must park at the lower end of the lot.
- Recreational vehicles of residents are not permitted to be permanently parked on the streets and parking lots of the community.
- Temporary permits for any other parking may be issued by the Security Department.
- Leisure World employees must park at least 15 spaces from the Administration Building in the Administration parking lot.
- Leisure World community will adhere to Montgomery County's Snow Emergency Plan. When the County declares a Snow Emergency, all vehicles parked on snow emergency routes must be removed or become subject to towing at owners expense.
- Pedestrians have the right of way in all cross walks.
