The Physical Properties Department (PPD) provides a wide variety of repair, maintenance and emergency services to meet most of the needs of Leisure World residents. Our service departments include: Appliances, Carpentry, Electrical, Heating and Air Conditioning and Plumbing. PPD can also remodel your kitchen and bathrooms. Visit the Showroom near the Warehouse Sales Counter. Browse through our samples and catalogs, and make an appointment to have our sales representative visit your home.

  PPD SERVICES DEPARTMENT
   
  

  PLUMBING:   

  Leaking faucets and showers, drain backups, garbage disposals, toilet repair/replacement, water heaters.

  ELECTRICAL:   

  Change light bulbs, repair switches, outlets and circuit breakers, install smoke detectors, light fixtures and ceiling fans.

  CARPENTRY/BUILDING MAINTENANCE:   

  Repair doors, windows, screens, drywall, cabinets and counter tops. Install new closets, cabinets, counter tops, ceramic tile, and hardwood floors.

  HEATING & AIRCONDITIONING:   

  Repair your existing systems and install new high efficiency systems. Repair and install electronic air filters, humidifiers, exhaust fans and programabe thermostats.

  APPLIANCES:   

  Purchase any new major GE appliance, Installation and removal of old appliance is included. Repair all of your major appliances including washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove.

  SPECIAL PROJECTS:   

  Storm water management and drainage; sump pumps; roof inspections; repair/replacement of gutters and downspouts; repair/replacement of fencing; paving work; estimates for custom work.

  AFTER HOURS OR EVENING DEPARTMENT:   

  One employee is on duty to respond to emergencies, such as uncontrolled water leaks, electrical outages, etc. PPD can all schedule some minor routine service calls for this department upon request.

  SERVICE AGREEMENTS:   

  Annual Service Agreements are available to resident of MOST Mutuals. The agreements offer maintenance and repairs for all standard appliances at multiple levels of coverage and pricing. Various service agreements cover repairs for electrical, plumbing, hot water heater, heating and air conditioning.

  WAREHOUSE COUNTER SALES:   

  Materials and supplies commonly used by amny residents (such as light bulbs) are available over-the-counter in the PPD warehouse. The prices are competitive to those in the surrounding area, but materials are available closer to your door for your convenience.

  VEHICLE MAINTNENACE,TRASH RECYCLING:   

  PPD provided solid waste trash pick-up twice weekly. Recyclables will also be picked up including co-mingle (plastic bottles, aluminum and tin cans). Newspapers and cardboard will be picked up once weekly; magazines/phone books will be picked up once a month. Schedule changes due to inclement weather are posted on the Leisure World television channel.
